3D rendering · San Francisco
3D rendering services in San Francisco and the Bay Area
We produce architectural renderings, 3D animation and virtual tours for projects in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose and the Peninsula: infill housing on narrow lots, remodels and additions to Victorian and Edwardian homes, office-to-residential conversions, lot splits and mixed-use buildings.
Render Fabrik works for Bay Area architects, developers and owners fully remotely, with quotes in US dollars and US hours. We are 4 to 5 hours ahead of Pacific time, so files sent in the afternoon usually come back as previews the next morning.

What we produce in San Francisco
Infill and mid-rise housing
Buildings on tight urban lots, shown between their real neighbors, with the street, the slope and the light of each block.
Remodels, additions and lot splits
Before and after views of a remodel, vertical additions and new units on split lots, so owners and reviewers understand the change at a glance.
Office conversions and workplaces
Office buildings converted to housing, plus workplace and lab interiors for Bay Area companies and the landlords leasing to them.
Where we work in San Francisco
San Francisco neighborhoods
SoMa, the Mission, Dogpatch, Hayes Valley and the Sunset: from mid-rise apartments to single-lot infill and historic remodels.
Oakland and the East Bay
Mixed-use on the commercial corridors, townhomes and housing near BART stations in Oakland, Berkeley and Emeryville.
San Jose and Silicon Valley
Multifamily and mixed-use near transit, offices, campuses and lab space in San Jose, Santa Clara, Mountain View and Palo Alto.
Peninsula and Marin homes
Custom homes, hillside houses and additions where the design has to respect the neighborhood and the view.
Renderings for dense Bay Area projects
Most Bay Area projects are built in places that already exist: a narrow lot between two older buildings, a house that is getting a new floor, an office building that will become apartments. The question everyone asks is how the new design will fit, so the rendering has to show the real context, not a building floating on a white background.
We place each design in its actual street, with the neighbors, the slope and the soft coastal light, and we keep the camera at eye level when the goal is to show what a neighbor or a passer-by will really see.
How to choose a 3D rendering company in the Bay Area
Look for a portfolio with real urban context, not only isolated villas: tight streets, mixed materials and believable weather. Check that interiors and exteriors come from the same projects, and that people, cars and trees are at the right scale.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a 3D rendering take for a project in the Bay Area?
First previews in about 3 business days after we receive drawings and references; final images in 5 to 10 business days per scene. For launches with a fixed date we deliver in stages you can review as we go.
Do you work remotely? Do we need to meet?
No meeting is needed. The whole process is online: we receive the project in Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, DWG or PDF, agree on camera angles by video call or email, and send previews before the final render. We work for clients in the Bay Area on US hours.
How do quotes and payment work?
Quotes and invoices are in US dollars. You get a fixed quote within 24 hours; the usual terms are 50% to start and 50% on delivery, by bank transfer.
Can we use the images for marketing, leasing and listings?
Yes. We deliver high resolution files (up to 8K) for print, signage and brochures, plus web versions for listings, social media and ads. Usage rights for your marketing are included.
Can you show a remodel next to the existing building?
Yes. We start from photos of the existing house or building and render the proposed design from the same point of view, so the before and after can be compared side by side in a presentation or a neighborhood meeting.
